Welcome To Equiform Nutrition

Cameron Thompson

2010

Cameron rode Bonds Glen at poys to triple clear and eventual 5th in poor JC grand prix at poys, It was well below the standard the same ponies were jumping in the winter JC hickstead qualifiers were 135cm in third round was normal, at poys it was 125max and no options, so it ended a race, Which was the same story in most of the 128 and 138 classes too. In Cams class the building was so poor that 20 combinations got to the third round and some combinations placed that hadn't got past the first round winter JC's, It was frightening how fast they were trying to go at the end. Cameron was first to go so he still had a pony left at the end. most poys winners have had a steady time since in all grades.

Bonds Glen Has qualified for Hickstead in the Winter JC'c, He was amazing at this step up in height, and was the only pony placed in every one of the first 5 A8 competitions. He qualified in the luxury environment of Inglinston but jumped exceptionally at Aintree too. On the strength of these performances he was invited to elite squad training at Bishop Burten college site to this summers European championships for all disciplines.

2009
HORSE OF THE YEAR SHOW

Cameron had a very good show this year with Bonds Glen, he was 7th in newcomers, the youngest rider and with least experienced pony in the Jump off.

Dinki Diva was third with a double clear in the 138cm final, it was a very good and exciting class.
Well done Cameron!!

STARTING OFF...

12 year old Cameron Thompson attends Kings school in Chester where he is a keen member of the football and athletics teams outside his riding. He holds various age high jump records and is a successful hurdler, so jumping in one form or other is very important to him.

He has been riding since 3years old and started affiliated jumping at 8years old. His first competitive pony was Roseview Little Love which was a great small track pony but gave Cameron a taste for jumping at bigger shows, with her, he was 2nd to Rachel Connor in class of 100 at Southview HPI 2006 and 6th in 128cm winter 2nd round at Stainsby Grange.

Then for 2007 He was lucky enough to get rides on Mister Boots and Peilview Conker both came as novice 128s but Boots won two 128cm second round Grand Prix’s (The Grange and South View) SV being ‘best round of the season’ according to Senior Judge Alan Jones in the H & H report. Conker won £1553 with Cameron in the 2y including Weston Lawns Championship, 2nd in 128 Welsh Derby and 3rd in Scottish HPI grand prix and Represented England at Welsh HPI gaining Silver with 0+4.

For the 2008 season Cam has had rides on Sally Roe's Dinki Diva and Sharon Whiteway's Ashes Cool Dude and recently novice 148's, Grenson Bonds Glenznd Ruth O'Malley's Hill House United Colours. The Season started very well with Dude winning Stainsby Grange 138cm Hickstead qualifier beating eventual Hickstead winner Graham Gillespie's Try To Hit Me Into Second.

At POYS Hill House United Colours got 4th in a JC class, her first outing at this level and has recently upgraded to JA and has won a 148 debut qualifier for the final South View 2008 HPI. Dude has come back to form with a good second to Fountain Ranger in a £100 class at the Barton Extravaganza and is jumping much more freely and consistently since starting on Equiform Easy Joint Liquid.
