This month saw the second years supply of supplements prize draw. The prize went to Sophie Furlong and her three horses from Pontypridd in South Wales. Who was extremely grateful to be drawn the winner, she said "I only signed up on Facebook on the way to work and never thought I would actually win it". Based at her lovely little livery yard in the depths of South Wales Sophie does a bit of eventing and dressage and loves her horses, we were so glad the prize went to someone so deserving, especially as it turns out she already uses our Calmer, it's the best she's ever used she told us. After revealing the winner Sophie informed us she would like to try the stay calm liquid, Excel Dressage and the Xtrolyte Blue, by the looks of the selection the horses can be a little bit of a handful. Nick Skelton has continued his winning streak this weekend at Wellington Equestrian centre in Florida, he and Carlo beat Laura Kraut into the top spot with time to spare. Completing his round in 36.60s and in return taking home $150,000. Due to the win Nick has now moved up to 4th position in the latest Rolex World Rankings, up 4 positions from his previous 8th place. This is fantastic news. We're hoping for a bottle of wine or maybe some free tickets to the next competition he's at..... pretty please Nick. Lets hope his winning streak continues. Read More

Finally the first competition winner has been picked for our years supply of supplements competition. This months winner is Sarah Hudgins who comes from Derbyshire. She is an event rider with three lovely horses. She was ecstatic when she won the prize and even said "I never win anything, so thought it was a joke when I got the call". We have posted a photo down below of Sarah and her very well turned out horses. Sarah chose to try the Excel Dressage, Stay Calm Liquid and Xtrolyte Blue as she felt it would help calm her horses down a lot. We'll keep you posted as to how Sarah gets on with her prize. Paul Nicholls got off to a flying start this Saturday afternoon with 2 wins and a third. Celestial Halo started the day by landing the Grade 2 Champion Hurdle Trial at Haydock Park, seeing off Desert Cry by two and a half lengths.
Violin Davis then followed on and completed a quick-fire, cross-card double for Paul shortly afterwards, the mare putting in a career best effort to win the Grade 2 Warfield Hurdle at Ascot under a very good ride from Ruby Walsh.
However the most anticipated Nicholls runner of the weekend was arguably Al Ferof, who finished a fantastic third in the Grade 1 VC Chase at Ascot recording the best performance by any novice this season. Read More

Billy Twomey continues to stay on top form, moving to the top of the Olympic qualifier rankings with a fourth place in today's World Cup Qualifier at Leipzig in Germany aboard Sue Davies's mare Tinka's Serenade.
The last published Olympic rankings, which took account of results up to December 31st 2011, saw Twomey in the third of Europe's three qualifying slots with Ireland's Denis Lynch leading the rankings.
However, following his fourth place in last week's Grand Prix in Basel, Switzerland, his second place in the ranking class in Leipzig on Friday and today's Grand Prix result, Twomey has now moved to the top of the unconfirmed European Olympic rankings. Read More

One of the most promising young riders for the future has joined Equiform's team

We are very pleased to announce that Olivia Dales is now part of the Equiform Show Jumping Team. Olivia, from East Yorkshire has been riding all of her life and was not only picked to be part of the British youth eventing team but after turning to Show Jumping only a few years ago was then picked to go to Athens for the European Championships as part of the Youth British Show Jumping team, coming home with a Gold medal. Watching her come through the ranks and perform time and time again we therefore felt we had to have her on our team. Ollie as her family refer to her will be seen throughout the year following the British Show Jumping circuit, keep a look out, she might only be 17 but she's definitely one to watch.

Nick Skelton is officially the highest ranked British rider in the world!

A huge well done to Nick for achieving such a fantastic achievement, out of 2281 ranks, Nick Skelton is at number 10. Beating his nearest opponent by 6 places Michael Whitaker at 16th. We can't wait to see how he gets on in August at the 2012 Olympics. We have high hopes he'll come home with a medal for us - make it a Gold one please Nick.

Kauto Star has yet again left the other horses in his wake at the King George.

People's favourite Kauto Star has become the first horse in history to win the King George five times with a brilliant performance at Kempton on boxing day. Here at Equiform we were delighted to see the horse make an almighty comeback after it's performance last year. With the public questioning whether the horses racing days were over it's easy to see he's still got everything to give. Bring on 16th March for the Cheltenham Gold Cup to see him take on the best again. For the time being though we feel he deserves a well earned rest.
It's great to have you and your horses on board Paul. Good luck for 2012.

Cameron Thompson comes 6th at the Grand Prix European Trials



A huge congratulations to Cameron and Bob who put out a fantastic effort to come 6th in the Grand Prix of the European Trials at South View. So far his highest level placing to date.
Bob jumped fantastically on the day and not only that, but was the only home produced pony in the class. Cameron has clearly shown that its all about the hard work and not about spending huge amounts of money on a pony.
Cameron's dad Campbell said "It was a fantastic show, best atmosphere at any I've been to since Spruce meadows in Calgary in early 'Its Otto' days, and packed with happy enthusiastic people".
Watch this space. Cameron is clearly a contender not to be missed.
