EQUIFORM EQUIFLAX

Equiflax has been recently formulated by Equiform Nutrition to meet the demand for palatable slow release energy. A completely natural animal feed supplement, specially blended using the finest Irish Flax, Equiflax is processed so that it is rich in Omega-3 Oils, important for health and well being of the horse, as well as providing a slow release energy source.

Equiflax is ideal for horses that may suffer from weight loss during the winter months, or those that become excitable when fed a conventional diet high in starch. Research has found that feeding a good source of digestible fat can have a calming effect on excitable horses, as well as improving weight gain and condition of the skin and coat.

The Omega 3 oils in Equiflax may improve the horse's health, condition and appearance by helping their digestive and excretory system, producing a marked improvement in their coat. An ever-growing body of research is indicating that Omega-3 contains essential fatty acids that are extremely important in animal diets for maintaining healthy condition and appearance. It has also been considered that inclusion of omega 3 in the diet may cause a reduction in inflammatory reactions in joint disease.

Equiflax is an ideal supplementary feed for use during the winter, when horses are losing weight and coats are changing. The highly palatable nature of the product also means it may be of particular benefit to older horses and fussy eaters.

Instructions For Use

Equiflax can be fed in two ways, either; 100-200g (depending on size and workload of horse) of dry crumb per day added directly to the feed.

Or, for more fussy eaters, make 100-200g of dry crumb up to 1litre with clean fresh water for a palatable easy to eat jelly.

Ponies: Use 50-100g per day.
