Update from Scarlett and her goals for 2019

I am a 27 year old show jumper from East Yorkshire, former stable jockey to the late Tim Stockdale and now running a competition and training stables from my family base near Beverley.

We have up to 12 horses in our stables ranging from well bred unbroken 3 year old’s to Grand Prix horses and everything in between. When I’m not show jumping I enjoy hunting with the Holderness and catch riding in other disciplines such as working hunter and riding out race horses for trainer Les Eyre.

My main aim for 2019 is to progress my young horses up the levels. This year I have three talented 5 year old’s in Beaustar Z, Davinchi and Jorvik Star who I would like to contend the British Young Horse Championships at Bolesworth with.

I also have three exciting 4 year old’s in Supermario, Billy Comet and Quicky who are currently being broken in and will attend their first shows this summer. These will be aimed at a couple of 4 year old classes before going out to grass to mature until next winter.

Alongside the young horses I aim to continue to be successful at national Grand Prix level with my best horse, Calista H.
